I lay down the receipt and said I need a kids 13 and a ladies 6, and a kids cart. Then I took the receipt to the rental desk to ask for the skates. But I had to explain that my boy, though tall, is not even a month into his 5th year and had no skating experience and convince the guy at the front desk to give me the stupid cart. NOT IMPRESSED with SK8 City in Pooler.accept the honesty and excuse the language.įirst off, I walked in and asked for a kids cart for my youngest.guy says, "Oh, he's too old for that." I'm an adult woman, I don't care if it's for me.rules of customer service say take my $2.50 and give me the cart. They offer nothing but poor customer service and no toilet paper in the bathroom. I didn't realize I needed to work with him, I was the paying customer after all. He basically told me I was not willing to work with him or listen to him.
#Skate city near me free
In our original party we booked, every child should of been given tokens for the arcade but they ran out of tokens, every child should of been given a free skate pass but they no longer honor those, the birthday child is suppose to receive a sk8 city birthday party tshirt but they ran out, they tried to make it up by offering us a free Lazer maze but that doesn't make up for all the everything else.Īfter spending being told our bill was one amount and being charged another amount I lost it and Chris wasn't much help. The icing on our cake melted because the room was so hot and our guest left out of there sweating. I asked multiple times for them to please turn on the a/c because I had such a large party (15+ child and parents) and they never turned it on. We get in the new private room and the a/c does not work and there was no fan or anything to cool the room off. He decided to move the party to private room, ok that was great.

I expressed my concerns about the condition of the room and the fact that everytime I've been to a birthday at this place there has always been a cake/gift table, all the rooms have been private, and none of them have been missing doors. The new assistant manager, Chris, came and spoke to my husband and I and explained the change of management, etc.

So I asked to speak to the manager, at this point I still did not know about a change in management. They would not provide us a cake/gift table and told me we could put the presents on the floor or in chairs and the cake at the end of a table. They still allowed us to have the party but tried to put us in a "semi-private" room that was missing doors so my party nor the other party was completely private. I booked a party 3 weeks with "old management" for my 7 young old daughter and today, the day of my daughter's party, we find out the management has changed and they no longer have the party we booked.
